Since the start of the year, there has been another flurry of activity. The investor has acquired three sites in partnership with one of its operating partners Wrenbridge with a gross development value of more than £100m, in Bishop’s Stortford, Dartford, and Houghton Regis.

Charity and social: Fiera in race to raise £10k for NHS workers
Fiera Real Estate UK is running an Ekiden Covid-19 fundraiser to support Duty to Care, a charity that provides support for NHS workers to enable them to improve and sustain their mental health and wellbeing.
More than 150 property professionals are taking part in the Ekiden long-distance multi-stage relay challenge, which takes place over three days from Friday 23 April. Participants will be split into teams of 10 and will walk, run or cycle to cover the minimum team target distance of 100km. Prizes will be awarded to the team that travels the furthest and raises the most.

The partners acquired the vacant site in 2017 on behalf of Fiera’s Real Estate Opportunity Fund IV. A planning application for 129 homes, a 68-bed care home, and a 17,000 sq ft office building was recommended for approval in February 2019, but South Oxfordshire Council refused consent.
