Fiera Real Estate and Packaged Living have bought a £200m development at a former Toys R Us site in Southampton.
The land acquisition is the ninth from the Fiera Real Estate Opportunity V UK from Fiera and CBRE GIP. It brings the total committed to over £100m.

Thame site sold to Bellway and Care UK
Bellway Homes and Care UK have bought an 11-acre site in Thame.
Angle Property and Fiera Real Estate announced they have completed the sale of the site in Howland Road to the developers for a total of £17.7 million in two transactions.
The vacant site was acquired in 2017 on behalf of Fiera Real Estate Opportunity Fund IV UK.
A planning application for 129 new dwellings including 28 affordable homes, a 68-bed care home and a 1,500 sq m B1 office building was granted consent on appeal in May 2020.
Cadent strikes deal for new Black Country hub
Gas network Cadent has struck a deal to move into a new office and warehouse space.
The firm has agreed a 20-year lease deal with Fiera Real Estate for a 25,000 sq ft unit in Planetary Road, Wolverhampton, which will become its new hub for its operations in the West Midlands.
