Fiera Real Estate Investments Limited (FRE) has appointed Marcus Sperber to the Board as an Independent Director. Sperber left the role of Managing Director and Global Head of Real Estate at Blackrock in 2019, after 17 years and recently founded NorthCroft Capital, a real estate investment and advisory business where he provides strategic business advice to institutional capital and real estate businesses.

Following 17 years as managing director and global head of real estate at BlackRock, Sperber left the company to start North Croft Capital, his own company that provides advice to institutional capital and real estate businesses. Sperber is a fellow of RICS and has spent 30 years in the real estate industry, during which time he has been involved in managing and launching real estate funds, global teams, property transactions and asset management initiatives.
