Step-by-Step: From Care to Career Charity Campaign

​​In June 2025, more than 120 professionals from across the real estate sector came together for Fiera Real Estate’s ‘Step-by-Step: From Care to Career’ charity fundraiser in support of the Drive Forward Foundation.

Following a hot, sunny walk along the River Thames, we are incredibly proud to share that the campaign has raised over £35,000, surpassing its original £30,000 target.

​​Supporting care-experienced young people

Drive Forward works with care-experienced young people as they move towards sustainable employment, helping to unlock potential that might otherwise go unseen. Through tailored support, mentoring, employer partnerships and access to meaningful career opportunities, the charity helps young people build confidence, develop skills and take positive steps into the world of work.

For many care leavers, the transition into employment can come with additional barriers. Drive Forward is helping to bridge that gap, providing practical guidance, emotional support and long-term encouragement at a critical stage in their lives.

Campaign Impact

The funds raised through the ‘Step-by-Step: From Care to Career’ campaign will support over 200 young people, helping to provide access to the guidance, services and opportunities needed to progress into employment.

The funding will help provide access to employer partnerships, professional counselling, skills and training workshops, specialist careers guidance and long-term wraparound support.
