Lending Framework

Overview

In April 2023, Fiera Real Estate launched a debt strategy, classified as Article 8 under the EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (“SFDR”).

In order to ensure environmental and social characteristics are embedded in all its underlying loan and underwriting assessments, we developed our proprietary Sustainable Lending Framework to sit at the heart of the strategy’s investment agenda.

The framework covers a wide range of ESG-linked targets around governance and reporting, decarbonisation, renewable energy generation, biodiversity, wellbeing and climate risk with the express aim to ensure the strategy supports borrowers, sponsors and assets with strong sustainability ambitions that align with our ambition to drive positive change.
