During Lockdown 2.0, Fiera Real Estate’s Charity Committee got together to work out how, even when we’re confined to the four walls of our home office, can we come together as a company to raise money for those in need. This resulted in the Fiera Real Estate UK team signing up to join Charities Trust’s Payroll Giving Scheme, which allows employees to donate money straight from their pay to any UK-registered charity.
Since then, we are very proud to have been awarded the Charities Trust Platinum Quality Mark, which means that over 20% of our organisation has signed up to support the scheme. So far this year, we have donated over £5,000 to a variety of charities, meaning that by the end of 2021, our employees will have donated more than £10,000 to causes that are close to our hearts.
Here at Fiera Real Estate, we are committed to integrating ESG into all aspects of our business, from the initiatives launched through our charity committee, through to the way we manage our funds. We believe that we have a responsibility to support local and national charities where we can, so that we can all work together to make our world a better place.
