Fiera Real Estate attends the unveiling of Grace Academy’s new library

On Monday 12th September, the Fiera Real Estate team took to Coventry to witness the unveiling of Grace Academy’s new library.

With the funds raised from Fiera Real Estate’s Ekiden Fundraiser earlier this year, together with funding and volunteers from the Meggitt team at Prospero Ansty Park, the library was fully renovated and stocked ready for the new school year.

Until now, the school’s library was made up of less than 50 books, but thanks to the generous donations and hard work of volunteers and school staff, there are now hundreds of educational and fun books available to students.

Grace Academy is a school in Coventry whose catchment area covers some of the poorest parts of the UK, resulting in a high proportion of disadvantaged families. The new library will be an enormous step forward in giving the students access to facilities they wouldn’t have otherwise had. The Grace team encourage their students to follow opportunity and unlock their potential, and this new space will give them free reign of the materials that will facilitate their growth.

So far this year, Fiera Real Estate has raised and donated over £54,000 to Grace Academy, as well as sponsoring their new football kit and taking on two students for work experience over the summer. The school has been fantastic in putting this support to work and helping to support their hard-working and deserving students.
