One of the private real estate sector’s leading journalists, Jonathan has risen through the ranks at private markets publishing and media group PEI and is now the Senior Editor for its Real Estate Group, which comprises the group’s real estate publications, PERE, Real Estate Capital Europe and Real Estate Capital USA.

Nell McRae, Senior Investment Consultant, Hymans Robertson

Nell has been at Hymans Robertson for over eight years and is a qualifed actuary and experienced Investment Consultant. She is the lead consultant on a number of clients in the private sector and supports Partners in their work for a range of large private sector and LGPS clients, acting as the day-to-day contact. Nell has particular experience working on large clients with assets over £1bn and works with a number of clients whose schemes remain open to accrual.

Jessica Pilz, Global Head of ESG, Fiera Real Estate

Before joining Fiera Real Estate, Jessica started her career in 2010 at the Public Investment Corporation Real Estate Asset Managers (PICREAM) in South Africa managing a portfolio of retail assets located in underserviced townships. She then joined MSCI, where she led their global sustainability benchmarking initiatives for real estate. In 2014, she joined GVA (now Avison Young) as an Associate Director within their Sustainability Consultancy team. Jessica later moved to the Commercial Real Estate Credit Risk team at Royal Bank of Scotland (now NatWest Group) where she was responsible for setting up processes to take into account environmental and sustainability risks when assessing commercial lending propositions. Jessica is responsible for championing FRE’s Global ESG strategies and initiatives across its investments, developments and operations.
